Inbox API: record a message from another app
The new route POST /api/v1/inbox/echoes stores a message your own Cloud API app sent on the same number, so the inbox shows that reply.
The Inbox Agent API has a new route, POST /api/v1/inbox/echoes. Use it when your own WhatsApp Cloud API app sends a message on the same number as your inbox connection.
The inbox then shows that message in the customer's conversation. The conversation no longer counts as unanswered. One wamid is stored once, so a retry is safe.
The message reaches your webhooks as inbox.message.sent with actor: null. A rule of a Konektor agent does not run on it. Read the Inbox Agent API documentation for the request format.
